The Outdoorsman’s Bonanza is a major annual fundraiser featuring over $200,000 in prizes, including vehicles, outdoor gear, cash, and more. The event is held at the Farm Bureau Livestock Arena in Albemarle and includes a day of prize drawings, food, and community fun. Proceeds from the event support two local nonprofits:

• Albemarle Downtown – funding beautification projects, small business grants, and upkeep of properties such as Market Station, Courthouse Square Park, and Liberty Gardens
• Stanly Health Foundation - funding programs and projects that positively impact the lives of thousands of patients and community members each year

Your ticket not only gives you a chance to win big—it also helps strengthen and support the Albemarle and Stanly County community.

Tickets are $100 each, and admit one person. For those who want to enjoy the event without an Outdoorsman's Bonanza ticket, guest tickets will be available the day of the event for $35 each, but will not be eligible for prizes in the drawing. However, anyone can enter the split-the-pot cash prizes that are given out at the end of the drawing.

Tickets can be purchased by cash, check or money order at one of the participating locations, or by mailing in an entry form. Please click HERE to access a copy of the order form to print and mail.

The charge will appear as "Stanly Health Foundation" on your credit card or debit card statement. 

It can take from 1-2 weeks to receive your tickets by mail. Please allow extra time during the holiday season as our offices close for a break.

Yes, as long as you did not win a prize. If you won a prize, you will not be able to turn this in on your taxes.  

Any payments received after tickets are sold out will be returned by mail.  

Please join us at the Farm Bureau Livestock Arena at 26130 Newt Road, Albemarle, NC, 28001. The venue is located behind the Stanly County Agri-Civic Center.

No, you do not have to be present to win. Winners not present will be contacted by phone and/or mail. However, you will have 30 days to claim your prize after the event, or it will be forfeited to Albemarle Dowtown and Stanly Health Foundation.   

Yes. Early Bird winners' tickets will be placed back into the ticket drum to be eligible for the remainder of the prize drawings.

Prize winner names and ticket numbers will be added to the 2026 Prize Winners link on this website as they are announced. Any winners not on-site the day of the drawing will be contacted the Monday after the event to make plans to redeem their prizes.

Any prizes valued at over $5,000 will be subject to a federal prize tax that must be paid by the winner before we can release them.  

Cash prize winners will be mailed a check by March 31, 2026.  

Yes. Guest tickets may be purchased the day of the event for $35 at the check-in table with cash or card. Guest ticket holders are not eligible for prizes, but can enjoy complimentary food and beverage, as well as participate in the split-the-pot drawing. 

No. You must be at least 18 years of age to be admitted to the Outdoorsman's Bonanza, absolutely no exceptions.

You CAN bring your own chairs, plus umbrellas in case of inclement weather. We also suggest bringing cash if you want to enter the 50/50 'split-the-pot' drawing happening the day of the event. Please do NOT bring outside food or beverage. Guests are treated to complimentary food from What-a-Burger #13 and beverage brought to you by United Beverages and Pepsi.

In case of inclement weather, is there a rain date?

Absolutely! Check out our list of Things To Do. Be sure to take advantage of our downtown's Social District, where you can take adult beverages out of bars and restaurants and into participating retail shops and public spaces within the district boundaries. 

Albemarle Downtown boasts several great restaurants, an axe throwing range, a taproom, and Albemarle's first craft brewery. Be sure to enjoy all that downtown has to offer during your visit!
